Featured Speaker ~ Jason Yates


Jason Yates is currently the Global Supply Chain Strategist for the Medical Products Division at W.L. Gore & Associates.  He grew up in Ohio, went to college at Bowling Green State and New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology and started his career in MRO systems and warehousing with a large pork processing facility in Oklahoma.


His background is in industries from meat processing to medical devices to bleeding edge technology with companies ranging from global Fortune 500 companies to independent start-ups.  He has worked in warehousing, procurement, inventory management, manufacturing operations, maintenance, supply chain operations, and business development.  He has also spent time as an IT network engineer doing network design, systems selection, implementation, security, and systems champion.  His focus is always on developing capabilities to help companies grow and succeed.


CPIM certified for over 15 years and an APICS instructor with different chapters.  He also has a CS&OP designation from The S&OP Institute.


Interactive conversation about Sales & Operations Planning.  From the Basics to the Advanced, including background of what S&OP is to the current state of the art.  Covering what it is, why it is important, the terminology that’s floating around, and maturity levels;  we’ll talk about S&OP Implementations, requirements, risks, and what it really means to be successful.
