About Our Speaker:
Chris Barnes, the Supply Chain Doctor, is a solutions consultant and thought leader with One Network Enterprises. He has invested 30+ years developing and managing multiple client, engineering consulting, strategic planning, and operational improvement projects in warehousing, distribution, and manufacturing environments. Barnes holds a B.S., Industrial Engineering and Economics Minor, from Bradley University, an MBA in Industrial Psychology with Honors from the University of West Florida and is a Fellow in Certified Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM-F), Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP-F), and Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD-F) by APICS. He is an APICS certified instructor on all three certifications, an adjunct instructor at Georgia Tech and University of Tennessee Chattanooga, and a Doctoral in Business, Supply Chain Management candidate. Barnes is host of the popular podcast, Supply Chain is Boring, part of the Supply Chain Now network, served on the International Board of Trustees for the Institute of Industrial Engineers, is a Past President of WERC Atlanta, and was on the editorial advisory board for Warehouse Management & Control Systems Deck Reference. He is also an accomplished author and speaker having presented to over 3,000 people written over 20 articles including the popular WERC publication, “WMS: Phase 1: Assessment & Selection”
