Speaker Bio: Cope Norcross
David “Cope” Norcross has more than 40 years of business ownership, consulting and management operating experience in many industries. Cope currently serves as the Acting Center Director and a Business Analyst with the Maricopa Community College District Small Business Development Center (SBDC) in Phoenix, AZ. The SBDC provides management, technical assistance, and funding to small businesses. Cope has participated on many Economic Development Advisory Boards, including high-tech and industry specific incubators for small businesses. He also helped start a national bank and served on the board of directors for 12 years. Cope’s merger and acquisition work, both for his own companies, as well as for other entities, has a long record of success. Mr. Norcross has a Bachelor’s degree in General Engineering, and Master’s degree in business, and is a member of the National Commerce Honorary Beta Gamma Sigma and currently is online faculty facilitating economics courses. His particular areas of interest include early stage companies, evaluation of financial projections, economic analysis, marketing, business loan for clients and business planning.
